Next quarter isn’t looking too horrible. Here are the classes I want/need to take:
COGS 10 – This one is titled “Cognitive Consequence of Technology” – I’m really excited for this one. I chose this over the COGS1 for the sake of interest.
CSE 30 – Ah, the 30. How I hear so much about you. It is titled “Computer Organization and Systems Programming”, it shall be the bane of my existence, perhaps? Let’s hope not.
CSE 15L - I’ve heard some bad stuff with this “Tools and Techniques Lab”. Hopefully, it’ll be OK. The general consensus is: “You work much too much, too hard for two units.”
MATH 20C – Just continuing along the math chain…
MCWP 50 - This is the Muir Writing course. I heard this involved a lot of reading, and a lot of research. Several different topics are covered, and I’m not really sure which I could write a very long paper on. I’m leaning towards “Memory Spaces” or “Real and Imagined”.
PHYS 2A – This is mechanics. I should really have taken AP Physics – I wouldn’t have to deal with this class otherwise, I think.
I’m thinking that perhaps if this is too much in terms of difficulty, I’ll drop one.
So after this year, I would have completed my Humanities, Social Sciences, Math/Natural Sciences and Muir Writing requirements, hopefully. That will leave either my Fine Arts or Foreign Language requirement left for Muir. I only have to pick one, and I’m leaning towards Foreign Language.
I really should finalize and complete my four-year plan…
